Golden Gate Bridge

At the north end of the San Francisco peninsula is an area known as the Presidio which is the origin of the world landmark Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge spans the mile wide, turbulent, and treacherous Golden Gate Strait. The park is also home to Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Museum.
