We’ve made some changes to our rental program to give you more flexibility and better value — here’s what’s new:
What’s changing?
Previously, puzzle rentals lasted 6 weeks and automatically renewed for another 6 weeks unless returned.
Previously, puzzle rentals lasted 6 weeks and automatically renewed for another 6 weeks unless returned.
Now, rentals begin with a 4-week rental period. After that, if you’re not ready to return your puzzle, your rental will auto-renew weekly at a pro-rated weekly rate — so you only pay for the extra time you actually need.
Here’s an example:
Let’s say you rent a 500-piece puzzle.
Let’s say you rent a 500-piece puzzle.
- Old system: $150 for 6 weeks. If not returned, another $150 6-week term is charged.
- New system: $100 for the first 4 weeks. Then, if you want more time, it’s just $25 per week after that.
So:
- If you return the puzzle after 4 weeks, you save $50.
- If you return it after 6 weeks, you still pay $150 total—same as before.
- If you return it after 7 weeks, you pay an extra $25, instead of $150 for a full 6 weeks.
Why the change?
We listened to your feedback. Folks reached out asking for a more flexible renewal policy and we wanted to make that happen. We also dug into the data and found that many customers returned their rental puzzles within 4 weeks. And lastly, we want to make our craft as accessible as possible. We hope this helps.

What do I need to do?
Nothing at all. This new system applies automatically to all new rentals. If you’re currently in the middle of a 6-week rental, you’ll finish that term as usual. After that, new rentals will follow the 4-week + weekly renewal structure.
