Lesley Anne Ivory (born 1934) is world-renowned for exquisitely detailed paintings of cats set against richly patterned backgrounds. Influenced by Persian and Indian design, her “Ivory Cats” gained fame in the 1980s. Her work is widely licensed and exhibited internationally.
