Carl Larsson painted Cozy Corner in 1894 as part of his celebrated series depicting life at his family home at Sundborn — images of Swedish domestic warmth, craft, and simplicity that became enormously influential across Europe and America. The original hangs at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
